Pricing

Every panel is $149, flat. There are no tiers, no bundles, and no panels that cost more than others. The at-home draw add-on is an optional +$75 per visit if you prefer a phlebotomist to come to you.
No. You pay per panel, when you choose to order. Nothing auto-renews. If you want to retest quarterly, you place a new order each time - we make it easy, but it is never automatic.
Yes. Laboratory diagnostic tests are generally HSA and FSA eligible under IRS guidelines. Use your HSA/FSA card at checkout the same way you'd use any Visa or Mastercard.
Each panel is $149, ordered separately. Many members run two or three at once - Hormones + Thyroid + Nutrients is a common first order. There is no bundle discount, but there is also no markup for ordering multiple panels.
$75 per visit. A certified phlebotomist travels to your home, office, or hotel. Early-morning and weekend slots are available for fasting draws. The option appears automatically at checkout if your ZIP code is covered.
No. The $149 panel price covers the physician-ordered lab requisition, the Quest Diagnostics venous draw, lab processing, and access to your EllaDx results portal. The at-home draw is the only optional add-on. No activation fees, no portal subscription, no recurring charges.

Lab & Testing

At any of 2,250+ Quest Diagnostics patient service centers nationwide - no appointment required at most locations. Or, if you add the at-home draw option, a certified phlebotomist comes to you.
A standard draw from a vein in your arm, performed by a certified phlebotomist. It takes about 8 minutes and produces the accurate, reproducible biomarker values needed for clinical interpretation.
Yes - 8 to 12 hours of fasting (water only) is required for most panels, particularly Metabolic, Cardiovascular, and Nutrients. Hormone panels are less sensitive to fasting but we still recommend it for consistency. You'll receive prep instructions by email after ordering.
5 business days from your draw date. Most results come back in 3–4 days. You'll receive an email notification when each biomarker result is added to your portal - results upload as they complete from the lab.
Quest Diagnostics, the largest CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited clinical laboratory network in the United States. The same lab your doctor uses when they send you for bloodwork.
Yes. Log in to your account and use the scheduling tool to select a new draw date and time. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.

Results & Reports

Every biomarker is delivered with three data points: the standard CLIA reference range (the broad population average), the research-backed optimal range for women your age and life stage, and a plain-English note explaining what your number means. For retests, trend charts track your values over time.
Standard CLIA ranges are calibrated to flag acute disease - you can be 'normal' on paper and still be functioning well below your best. EllaDx optimal ranges are drawn from peer-reviewed research on the biomarker levels associated with healthy function, energy, and hormone balance in women. Both are shown side-by-side on every result.
Yes. Every report can be downloaded as a clean, formatted PDF with all values, reference ranges, and research citations included. You can share it with your physician, OB-GYN, functional medicine provider, or any other clinician.
When you retest the same panel, your new results appear alongside all previous results on a timeline chart. You can see exactly how each biomarker has moved quarter over quarter - useful for tracking the impact of any protocol, supplement, or lifestyle change.
A biomarker flagged as 'borderline' is within the standard CLIA reference range but outside the research-backed optimal range for women. It doesn't indicate disease, but it's a signal worth discussing with your physician, particularly if it correlates with symptoms you're experiencing.

Safety & Medical

No referral needed. EllaDx is direct-to-consumer. A licensed physician in your state reviews your order and signs the lab requisition on your behalf - you never need to see your own doctor first.
Yes. EllaDx is HIPAA-compliant. Your health data is encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold to third parties, and never shared with insurers. You control who sees your results.
EllaDx is a direct-to-consumer laboratory testing service, not a medical device. We provide you with lab data and research context. Interpretation and clinical decisions belong with your physician.
No. Lab results provide data; diagnosis requires a licensed clinician who knows your full medical history. EllaDx results are intended to inform conversations with your healthcare provider, not replace them.
Download your results PDF and bring it to your physician or a specialist. For any result flagged as critically out of range, we will email you directly with guidance to seek prompt clinical follow-up.

Getting Started

Any adult aged 18 or older in a supported U.S. state. EllaDx is designed for women, but panels are available to anyone who needs them.
EllaDx is available in most U.S. states. A small number of states have regulations that restrict direct-to-consumer lab ordering. Check availability at checkout - if your state isn't supported, you'll see a clear message.
Take the 3-minute symptom quiz and we'll match you to the panels most likely to explain what you're experiencing. Or browse all 10 pre-made panels directly - each one lists its biomarkers, the symptoms it addresses, and who it's designed for.
Immediately. After checkout you'll receive a lab requisition by email, and you can walk into any Quest Diagnostics location that day. For the at-home draw option, most ZIP codes have same-week availability.
Yes. At checkout you can enter a different name and email for the recipient. They'll receive the welcome email and lab requisition directly. Gift orders work the same as personal orders - the recipient creates their own account to access results.
